"A Cry in the Night"
All I held high and fought to
keep secure
Suddenly came crashing to pieces on the floor
Sacred Acts, made unclean
Rage and anger, in my head, would scream
Pride and bitterness, a cold hard wall
Lust and lies, I answered their call
A child's
innocence stolen away
Revenge, I thought, they surely will pay
Adultery and slander, drunkenness and shame
I fell for the enemy's lying game
I played the role of a strong woman well
I had never been told of the reality of hell
Then one
dark night, I was about to give in
Contemplating suicide, held captive by sin
I fell to my knees, I didn't want to be on my own
I cried out to God, who was on His throne
I could not
stop crying, He knew where I'd been
He'd seen it before
I had been blind, but He knew of all the sin
That had walked through my door.
On my knees,
crying out to God,
"Father PLEASE!"
Take it from me, I can't take it anymore!
I'm a slave
to the enemy, I have nothing, no one
I'm here all alone
I need you, speak to me Lord,
If you really are on your throne
I'm weak and
I'm tired, I've no where to turn
I have no joy, all I can do is mourn
As soon as I
cried out with all of my heart,
My faithful Father's promise came to be
He picked me up and
wrapped His arms around me.
You came to
me my child, who I love
I will never leave you, please follow my Word
I will open your eyes
so you can fight with
My Sword
I will
strengthen you and heal your disease,
I will answer your prayers before you
Even bend your knees
I will take
your burdens, I will make you light
I will fill you with joy,
I will brighten your dark nights
Stay close
to me child, I will give you rest
Give me your hurt and fears,
For you, I have only the best
Obey my Word and follow Me
Call on Jesus and the enemy will flee
You are a
princess, a daughter of the King
I'll put praises in your heart,
You can't help but to sing
I rescued
you from your sin
I delivered you from your ways
I promise to love you for all of your days
I will bless
your children
I will restore the lost
You, my daughter, were bought at a cost
Your burdens
have been lifted
The stripes are on His back
All this for you,
Your Father's love, you will never lack
Forget your
drunkenness,
Forget all of your shame
You are now a new creation,
You have a new name!
Forget your
debt, and the death of your soul
You are forgiven for all
Jesus paid the toll
In Jesus'
name start living
Your tears have been bottled
Leave them with me
Forget your hurt and anguish
My Light in you,
That is what others will see
Remember, my
princess, always stay close to me
I died and rose for your sin
For today is the day your salvation shall begin!
Thank you
Lord.
Your humble servant,
Jodi

Hi, I’m Rev. Mike Cordry and I’m 24 years old.
I lived all over the country growing up.
My mother was an alcoholic, and
when my parents got a divorce,
I never got to see her. She was constantly
in and out of rehabs,
and I did not see her for 10 years at one point.
I
always had problems growing up, and started abusing heroin at 16. By the
age of 20, I found myself behind bars
charged with 14 felonies, including
2 armed robberies.
When I was released on bail out of 2 different
counties,
I came to the only place that would take me in ~
Teen
Challenge.
The Lord changed me from the inside out
and gave me the Spirit of
Adoption.
I quite literally crossed from death to life.
Even after
pleading guilty to 9 felonies,
the judges only gave me probation.
They
could not deny that I was a changed man.
I devoted my life to the Lord.
I committed my life to helping those who
were as lost as I was. Since commencing the program, God has blessed me
in so many ways. I have received my pastoral credentials through Global
University.
In December of 2006, my mother (whom I hadn’t seen in 10
years) entered the program of Teen Challenge. She has been there ever
since and God has completely restored our relationship.
Exactly 2 years
later, I married the woman of my dreams,
Apryl Hart. We are both eager to
begin our first mission together: the city of Fitchburg. We are both so
honored
to be a part of Crossroads and what the Lord is going to do in
Fitchburg through this congregation.
There is no
denying that the Lord saved my life
and that He has great plans for me and my wife!
Pastor Mike Cordry

Crossroads now has their
very own head Librarian!
She is Betty Hackett, known to many as “Granny”.
God has placed it upon her heart to organize a library
for the members of Crossroads.
Betty's
salvation testimony ~
Betty was a Catholic who used to have priests and nuns
at her home all the time. One time though,
when she went to Santa Maria,
there were 2 nuns who were extremely rude to her.
Also, the church she was attending was very cold.
Her daughter, Shely, had been telling her about Crossroads.
Shely sent her one of Pastor Bryan’s sermon CDs.
This made her want to change churches.
She went to Potter’s House which was very small.
One Sunday, a missionary came to speak
and that was the day she was saved!!!
She said it was a magnificent experience,
all due to Pastor Bryan’s sermon!
Her granddaughter, Jessica, Pastor Bryan’s wife,
invited her to come and live with them.
She said it was the “Best move she ever made!”
